This customisable medication cart offers a selection of bin trays drawers that can accommodate various sizes of bins. the bin tray drawer is fitted with a locking system which prevents the bins removal. A safety breakaway lock or tamper evident seal enhances the safety of stored medication.

Each bin tray may accommodate 8 large or 12 small bins, they are separated into sections to clearly separate medication for each patient by time of prescription.

Dispensing is controlled by pharmacists and therefore reduces dispensing errors at ward level .

The use of polyethylene moulded in a one piece monocoque design offers a strong unbreakable surface that is light weight and transportable.  in addition there are no joins or crevices in the design to harbour potentially damaging bacteria.  Everything is moulded in one piece including the ergonomic push handles - so there are no screws holes or joins to tackle when cleaning

To further help from an infection control stand point we can offer additional protection with the option to have the product impregnated with Microban.® This “built-in” process drives Microban® into the polyethylene during the moulding process to ensure it lasts the life of the product .This is unlike other antimicrobial offerings that often are washed off over time. 

The Microban® brand is an assurance of safe, durable and effective antimicrobial protection that will provide an added level of defence against damaging microbes for the useful lifetime of the product..

The use of the non-magnetic material and the manufacturing process delivers a cart that is non-magnetic, and can be used in areas such as MRI scan areas. Many carts on the market do not offer this option; the cart can also be accessorised with non-magnetic accessories.

All products offer a range of lockable drawers, keeping the contents safe. The locks can be a choice of key, seal or electronic keypad giving full flexibility of choice so the products best fit with the hospital’s needs. There can also be 2 locks providing controlled accessibility to certain things such as drugs, again ensuring safety to patients and the carers.

Polyethylene also has the property of being recyclable, which testifies to our commitment to the environment
