Electric heigh low controlled by an easy to use foot pedal allows precise height adjustment for every procedure – it ensures the surgeon, gynaecologist or midwife does not need to stoop or bend to see hence reducing back injury or pain during long procedures

Seat tilt positioning allows precise positioning of the patients hips to perform certain procedures and ensure good outcomes – we know for example the hips need to be slightly boosted for artificial insemination to get the best outcome

An electric head up will provide comfort and security for the patient – it is published that a woman feels more secure and dignified if she has some visibility of the doctors doing the procedure

Easy to achieve trendelenburg is required for some clinical procedures, but more often in emergency situations and is easily achieved

the anti-crush system ensures maximum safety for the patient and the users -  it detects objects underneath the platform, and prevents descent.

The use of foot pedals allows “hands off” positioning freeing up hands for infection control, reasons and during sterile procedures, - the hands can remain clean whilst the surgeon chooses his position carefully and precisely

If the chair is used by several Gynaecologists, doing different procedures, the 3 positions can be pre-programmed for each Gynaecologists and or each procedure. In addition a unique “slow” mode allows even more precise positioning at any point in the procedure, for some procedures that require exact and precise positioning this functionality will improve outcomes and safety

The fabric is moulded round a thick foam platform with no seams to allow ingress of fluids, this smooth seamless surface is easy to clean and will prevent contamination of the foam interior – therefore reducing the risk of cross contamination. In addition the surface is moulded into the shape of a patient to allow maximum conformity into the surface, this in combination with the ticker foam means the patient’s weight will be more evenly distributed and therefore less pressure points and more comfort.

The headrest adds to patient comfort – it is not fixed to the chair but with a magnet connection can be positioned exactly where the patients need it adding to the comfort and dignity for the women

The patient handles help with repositioning, adding to the feeling of security, and will aid if the patient needs to lie on her side as she can pull herself over minimising risk of injury.

A surgeon’s instrument holder –made from stainless steel and can be disinfected between procedures - makes all his instruments accessible
